Raising awareness for Be Kind to Animals through chalk art!

To raise awareness for our class's topic, Be Kind to Animals, the students recently took to the sidewalks and parking lots of school.

Here, students drew a cat that was crying and wrote a message to show that "When animals cry, we cry, too."

These students decided to show the harm that a circus animal will go through.
This team showed animal cruelty by making a tug-of-war between animals and humans.

What will you do to Be Kind to Animals?

GLPS-This is Who We Are!

It’s your time to give a voice to those in need...

And it all starts here in Global Awareness!  The world has so many problems these days.  I bet that you have seen the news, talked to your parents, or heard from your friends that there are terrible things happening in the world.  Poverty in many countries.  Terrible pollution harming our health.  Racism in our neighborhoods.  Abuse of our precious animals.

But you have a voice that can change the world!  We will make a team with other people passionate about the same topic and create a campaign right here at camp!  You will use many creative ways to bring awareness about your passion.  The world will hear your voice!

This is going to be a fun, inspiring, life changing time at GLPS.

Be excited.
Be prepared.
Be ready to bring awareness!
